With the theme of harmonious city, the 2010 Shanghai World Expo Germany Pavilion aims to convey the harmony of city, which needs to be balanced and harmonious between cities and nature, innovation and tradition, globalization and national characteristics. Located on the south bank of the Huangpu River near the Lupu Bridge and adjacent to the Swiss, French and Polish pavilions, the German Pavilion covers a plot area of 6000 square meters and is open on all sides, expressing a feeling of lightness and ebullience, as well as an invitation to travel with others.
